-Clover Finance Mission Statement

Clover Finance (CLV) is built to be an adaptable platform for Decentralized Applications, cross-chain compatibility, and Ethereum Virtual Machines (EVM). Their platform is built on Polkadot (DOT), a cryptocurrency similar to Ethereum in its capacity to network decentralized applications.

Clover Finance Timeline & General Info

Clover Finance (CLV) first began its launch in April of 2021. The platform was created to further advance compatibility in the complex multi-layer protocols of Bitcoin, Ethereum, Binance Coin, and Uniswap. CLV is a sister-network to the much smaller Sakura (SKU) cryptocurrency.

In late 2021, Clover Finance successfully crowdfunded for a Polkadot parachain auction to secure additional funds to develop the platform. In addition, they declared a significant growth in iOS wallet of over 300,000 downloads. See the official announcement here.

The CLV token operates on the Clover Finance blockchain and is used as a measure of governance for the network. Individual tokenholders can elect their CLV to vote on changes to the platform. Many major exchanges support CLV including US Crypto giant Coinbase.

Clover Wallet For iOS Guide

A simple, step by step guide on how to use the Clover guide for iOS and iPhone.

Step 1: Set Up & Create Wallet

When you first download the Clover Finance Wallet iOS application, it will ask you if you already have an existing wallet or if you would like to create a new wallet. In this example, we will follow the steps of creating a new wallet.

Step 2. Save Seed Phrase & Create Password

When creating a new wallet, a new seed phrase will be automatically generated. Keep this seed phrase safe because it will be the only way you can access the wallet if you forget your password or if you need to log in on a different iOS device.

You can always access your seed phrase again from the Account Menu, but you will need your password to reveal the seed phrase.

Note that an insecure location for your seed phrase and password can make your wallet more easy to be hacked, so I would suggest away from saving it in Evernote or Notes app and encourage you writing it down in one or two safe physical locations, like a private journal or secure file folder.

Step 3. Navigate the Main interface

In this first menu, you can see that you have a new account with the default assets and networks.

Navigating the Clover Wallet Interface

The display above shows the Wallet Tab.

Clover Finance is built for cross-chain compatibility. Therefore you can trade an extremely vast selection of cryptocurrencies using the Trade tab on the left.

In the middle, you can use the Asset Tab to deposit and receive Cryptocurrency to your wallet.

On the right, the Dapp Tab is used find Decentralized Applications compatible with Clover.

The far right is the tab for Settings, where you can configure your setup, reset password, and find your seed phrase.

Is Clover Finance related to the Company Clover?

No, Clover Finance is an independent Decentralized Autonomous Organization that is not correlated with the Clover Network Inc.

Why Did Clover Finance Drop?

Clover Finance displays a major drop because there previously was a scam coin that issued tokens under the same name for $42.

The CLV token is not related to the original scam coin and the Coinbase Chart for CLV is not accurate. The correct price history for CLV is displayed above, with an all-time low of $0.12 and a 2021 high of $2.17.
