History of Cosmos
The Cosmos Network was founded by Jae Kwon, Zarko Milosevic and Ethan Buchman in 2016. Created from a former organization called Tendermint, the founders first collected in 2014 and then established a formal whitepaper in 2016. They successfully launched the ATOM token in 2017 and listed the token on public exchanges as early as 2019.
